I am a serving officer, presently posted with a Tri-Service organization of HQ IDS, New Delhi, as Joint Director(Works & Budget). I have got over two decades of diversified experience and achievements in Operations, Infrastructure development, Planning, Project and Personnel Management. Worked on maximizing performance, conflicts resolution, labor relations , change management, consistently completing projects on time and providing exceptional leadership in time sensitive environment. Possess broad knowledge of human resources in a variety of sectors including union and non-union environments. Managed administration and lead a motivated work force of over 300 personnel. Trained in understanding the needs of the job and assigning the people job fit and thus bring out the best in others while creating a healthy and friendly work environment. I got commissioned into Corps of Engineers on 10 June 1995. A civil engineering graduate from 1992 batch of one of India’s premier engineering institute, Indian Institute of Engineering, Science and Technology, Shibpur (erstwhile Bengal Engineering College,Shibpur). After graduation, I worked with Birla Technical Services for about 2 years as a design engineer and was associated with Modernization of Rourkela Steel Plant where I had designed a De-scaling station. I am also a Certified Senior Management Professional from IIM Calcutta.
