As indicated in my resume, you will notice that my nearly 30 years of experience in the field of military / managing security provides me with the relevant expertise in fulfilling the mentioned position.

To date my overall experience includes working for multi-national companies and or providing services to mostly international clients, such as FIFA, Sun International, Engen, as well as British American Tobacco.

My experience with the Sun International group as Security Manager played a fundamental role in the profitable running of the biggest resort in Africa, namely Africa’s Kingdom of Pleasure – Sun City. I’m level-headed, a quick thinker and insightful. My responsibilities included the safety and security of guests, employees (2500 employees any given time on resort) and four (4) hotels as well as self-catering apartments, namely The Vacation Club (consisted of 560 units). My duties were securing assets and protecting players / artist during prestigious events such as the annual NGC (Million Dollar) Golf tournament and various international artists performing at the resort. Other duties included crime prevention and investigations on a daily basis, access and egress control, security systems, surveillance systems, control of restricted areas, key-office, VIP and VVIP Protection, escorts, training of staff for emergency procedures, contingency plans, managing health & safety,hotel security inspections, weekly security meetings with Resort Management and above all supervising a security team of 400 Security Officers.
