• Experienced with Turbo-machinery applications like major Gas compressors (Dresser rand multistage centrifugal compressor, Atlas copco integrally geared centrifugal compressor, Howden screw compressor and Siemens liquid ring compressor), Gas turbines (Siemens V94.2 135MW), and different Pumps types (single and multistage).
• maintenance of Blowers (centrifugal and lobe), Centrifuges (Broadbent )
• Prepare major overhaul scope of work and material reservations for major machinery.
• Supervise major overhauls and inspection for all type components of turbo-machinery.
• Direct and supervise the activities of rotating machinery technicians in the repair and maintenance of all categories.
• Planning for major shutdown and turn around for the total plant including rotating equipment as well as static equipment like different types of column , exchanger and vessels.
• Aware and use the well-known standards for turbo-machinery and pumps applications API 610,617,682 and 686.
• Preparing MWI for all equipment in the site.
• Participate in CMMS team work for making data base for the system .
• Use CMMS as effective work tool in planning manpower, plant Preventive Maintenance program. And materials resources.
• Aware and use of vibration analysis and troubleshooting using portable vibration analyzers related to level tow vibration from Mobious institute.
• Cost reduction in mechanical seals consumption by doing modification in the flushing system and change types according to the process.
• Support Operations Division in solving of machinery related problems.
• Troubleshoot plant machinery problems, conduct root cause analysis and recommend engineering solutions.
• Set and follow up Maintenance KPIs.
• Responsible for preparing weekly, monthly reports for PMs, CMs & PDMs corrective action.
• Preparation of Work Pack for equipment and facilities at the site.
• Responsible for holding up meetings with our client for developing our maintenance procedures for units operation continual improvements
• Carrying out All mechanical seals (Flowserve, Burgmann ,Depac , Zuchetti , John Crane) assembly, installation and maintenance work.
• Responsible for ISO documents (Risk Assessment, Tool Box Talk).
• Supervising Doing alignment for all pumps & compressors using dial gauges device.
• Implementation of technical and administrative instructions issued by the Department.
• Preparation of studies needed to develop the site and raise the performance level of technicians.
• Submit a report to the Sector Manager for any technical and administrative problems as they happen.
• Strong technically and academically knowledge about compressor inlet cooling systems specially in wet compression, fogging system , evaporative cooler and child water system .
