Dear Sirs,
I would like to introduce myself: My name is Cagatay Demirci and I am a successful general surgeon with 12 years of experience in Turkey. After six yeared training and education in The Faculty of Medicine of Selcuk University in Turkey I worked as a medical(general) practitioner between 1993-1998. I graduated as a specialist general surgeon from Ankara Numune Training and Education Hospital (in Turkey) in Jan.2004. As my resume shows I have accumulated 12 years of diverse and very successful experience.
Currently I am developing and perfecting oncologic and bariatric surgery on patients and have put my signature on many successful cases. I love my country very much and have been proud to live and serve my nation here for the past 12 years, however career wise I would like to pursue and develop a career in countries abroad.
As a member of Turkish Surgical Association I performed over 100 Lap.Sleeve Gastrectomy(LSG) for last 1,5 years. But just 5 for the last 4 months. Because I was so busy with managing and coordinating medical system of my hospital as a consultant and deputy of chief physician. Recently I am only performing LSG and breast cancer surgery (MRM and Breast Conserving Surgery) and peroperative consulting to solve complications/problems (means joining the operations when needed to pass over the problem) and for the private patients. I have done over 400 tyroid surgery, over 100 breast cancer surgery, over 500 lap. cholecystectomy, over 100 GIS oncologic surgery (includes colorectal, gastric, small bowel etc) over 20 hepatobilier damage repair (includes Roux’n Y hepaticojejunostomy, choledocoduodenostmy) over 50 hepatic, splenic and soft tissue cyst hidadic surgery. And numbers of groin hernia repairs, pilonidal cysts, anorectal benign disease. I have good experience about diafragmatic hernia repair in laparoscopic and conventional procedures. I have been trained in burn theraphy and surgery during my residency period. Over 500 upper GIS endoscopy and colonoscopy with polypectomies are in the list of my performance.
You can easily notice some special certificates such as Occupational Physician Certificate and Blood Banking and Transfusion Medical Traning with the others that I have listed in my CV.
