I have in-depth knowledge in both strategy as well as execution in both business continuity and information security domain. I have 14 years’ experience in conducting Risk Assessments, Information Security, Crisis Management and Business Continuity Plans. I have a passion for conducting training and developing e-learning modules. I have been involved in External and Internal Audits and Testing of enterprise-wide business continuity and disaster recovery planning programs.
I hold advanced degrees MS in Business Continuity Management from Norwich University and professional certifications (CBCP, MBCI) with excellent project management skills. I have implemented 2 Full Lifecycle of BCMS ISO22301 & ISMS ISO27001 and also supported in certifying several organisations IS0 27001/BS7799 standards in the last 10 years.
As a Crisis Manager I have handled more than 15 incidents and managed to recover business with zero business interruptions and won several awards and accolades for the same. I have been awarded “Business Continuity Manager of the Year” at the Asia Business Continuity Awards 2013.
At present I am working for BSI Group India (British Standards Institution) as Business Continuity Manager / Client Manager for carrying out assessments of clients' Management Systems to ensure that they meet the requirements of International Standards such as ISO 27001, ISO 22301, ISO 31000 , 10500 (ABMS) , 10012 (Data Privacy) and BS65000 (Organisational Resilience).
