• Review of WPS for various materials and size as per requirements.
• Witnessing of welders and Procedure Qualification Test, and verifying compliance with appropriate standards and specifications.
• Control of welding consumables by issuance and verification that welders are using correct welding consumables (Welding rods, filler metals).
• Inspection of welding activities including Fit up and weld preparation
• Strict follow-up of the implementation of approved ITP.
• Prepare weld mapping of isometric drawings and dimension check of completed spools.
• Verify heat number, inspection during fabrication and erection such as pipe cut length, edge preparation, fit-up, branch connections, flanged joints, valve connections, bending and forming, hot adjustment, bolt, nuts, washer, gasket and tolerances cleaning requirements.
