Zeeshan Riaz

I am Zeeshan Riaz, a telecom professional having 9+ years of experience in Project Management, Planning & Design, Implementation, Optimization, Technical support, Operations and Managed Services of DWDM, SONET/SDH, NG-SDH, GPON/FTTx and Microwave based Transport/Transmission Networks. Having Multi vendors experience includes Transmission systems of HUAWEI TECHNOLGIES, Nokia Siemens Network, NEC, Alcatel and Harris Stratex. My specialties are Network Design & Optimization, Technical Audit & Support and Managed Services.

Currently working with Digicel in Caribbean as a group resource for their FTTH projects in different countries. My main responsibilities are FTTH network plan, design, capacity management & Technical support. I have worked with Al-Baud Technology for Ericsson's Transport Networks (Fiber Optic implementation) projects in Qatar. I also worked with Saudi Telecom for Transport/Transmission network implementation for NSN account in Saudi Arabia for 2G, 3G & 4G Technologies. I worked with Nokia Siemens Network, Philippines for their Due Diligence project & Quality Improvement Program for the improvement of Transport/Transmission NOC in their monitoring & escalation processes, quick fixes and alarm removals for one of the largest operator “Globe Telecom”. Previously I had worked with MTN-Rwandacell for their optical backbone (SONET/SDH) network project. I had planned & designed and implement their network and also provide technical support and managed services to Telenor Pakistan for their optical backbone (DWDM) network.
