I have extensive experience, built up over the last twenty five + years, incorporating the following key roles and responsibilities within the automotive and education industries:
• Implementing procurement and stock control systems
• Developing pricing strategies that balance objectives, alongside ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Identifying, developing and evaluating marketing strategies based on knowledge of objectives, market trends along with cost and margin factors.
• Evaluating financial aspects of budgets, expenditures and profit and loss projections.
• Identifying, anticipating and satisfying customer needs effectively, whilst retaining profitability. This encompassed market research, pricing, promotions, customer care, company image and much more.
• Developing successful marketing strategies that incorporated advertising and sales promotion, planning and working in association with a variety of media. (eg. radio , trade magazines and hospitality departments).
• Organising presentations to increase company and product awareness, along with dedicated presentations to companies with specific needs.
• Forecasting sales and strategic planning to ensure the profitable sale of products after monitoring market trends.
• Building the credibility of the company through cost effective strategies, which generated revenue, whilst planning and launching marketing campaigns and monitoring the competition.
• Directly hiring, training, motivating and monitoring of staff’s daily activities; ensuring that objectives were not only met but exceeded.
• Instigating health and safety procedures ensuring zero accidents in workshops and on site repairs
• Possess a full understanding of P & L and the importance of controlling costs
• Negotiating with suppliers for the supply of parts, labour, printing and marketing
