A Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) with a wealth of US and Middle East experience. I am an experienced senior internal auditor at PwC, Dallas-Texas, with 10 years of professional experience in Internal Audit, External Audit and Corporate Governance line of services providing consulting and assurance services for more than 50 clients across different regions. I have the skills to deliver several types of consulting services on the assessment and improvement of Corporate Governance, Internal Audit, and compliance functions.

I am an experienced consultant in the assessment and design of corporate governance structures and frameworks in accordance with different codes and OECD best practices. I led many different engagements in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and worked closely with board members, committees’ members, and executive management to assist clients optimize and / or reorganize their existing governance structures.

I provided internal audit services to many clients including establishing internal audit functions and working practices (e.g., long-term strategies, charters, manuals, and policies & procedures). I also led many projects regarding the development of strategic internal audit risk-based plans and performed enterprise risk assessments. I evaluated many different systems and business process controls for many clients and performed 404 SOX reviews. In the same relation, I managed many external quality review projects to assess Internal Audit functions in accordance with the requirements of the Institute of Internal Auditor “IIA”. I also participated in all aspects of external audits, including performance of audit planning, financial analytics and performance reviews, quarterly and annual reviews, and substantive testing of accounts. My industry background are in oil & gas, banking and financial services, real estate, government, not-for-profit, petro-chemical, manufacturing, retail, healthcare, asset management, loans & leasing, investment funds, and utilities.
