Wael Saleh

I am Hands-on general manager from financial background, known for my strategic vision and focused approach. I am able to build and implement business & tactical plans with a proven track record in business profitability & growth. I am a talented professional with 14 years of progressive accomplishment leading country operations and project management initiatives for several multinational organisations including G4S Secure Solutions, TNT Express Logistics and Sainsbury’s PLC.

I am an Oxford Graduate - BA (Hons) Accounting & Economics and CIMA (Chartered Institute of Management Accounting - England & Wales). Working at TNT Express, I have also completed Mini Postgraduate award in Management & Business Study from Warwick Business School.

I Joined Sainsbury’s UK as a Management Accountant Analyst in 1995, and was later selected to take part in finalising the due diligence of Sainsbury's 80.1% share acquisition of Egyptian Distribution Group SAE, 2,000 employees. In recognition of my role during the acquisition process, I was subsequently appointed as Project Financial Controller for Sainsbury’s Uk.

In 2001, I joined TNT Express Logistics – Egypt as Country Financial controller, and was promoted to Country General Manager in 2005.
I managed TNT Express - Egypt (2005 – 2013) to become the most profitable business entity in SEMEA (India, South East Europe, Middle East & Africa region), with consistent YOY budget achievement and double digit revenue growth (15% -30%).

In September 2014, joined G4S Secure Solutions (Middle East & Africa) bringing with me 13 years' board-level experience. In my role, I successfully negotiated & managed several high profile tender bids and risk assessment projects for private & public entities including Ministry Of Higher Education and Al-Futtaim Group.
