GIS/Cartographic Technician with a National Diploma in Cartography, who is able to work both independently and within a team, hardworking with about 11 years, experience of practical and theoretical knowledge in mapping, coordinating and maintaining quality control of Cartographic and GIS data. I have the ability to handle pressure and endurance at work, good knowledge of sources and various methods of manual and digital extraction of geospatial data, ability to utilise basic graphical representation techniques to clearly visualise data. Comfortable working with ArcView, ArcGIS, Freehand, Autocad and have basic knowledge of MapInfo and Corel Draw. Approachable, good eye for detail, willing to learn and share knowledge and able to get along with both colleagues and senior managers.
