Dear Sir ,
I am a civil engineer, Turkish, and a graduate of Civil Engineering Department of Middle East Technical University, Ankara, Turkey.
Since graduation, I have worked in various projects, mainly related to infrastructure, highway/motorways/bridges, and airfields in various countries. Starting with site engineer duties, I have gone through all stages of projects, up to high managerial level, as being Project Manager.
All through this duty cycle, I achieved the experience about many work disciplines, with hands-on management principle, with both site and office duty responsibilities. I have managed projects at top levels, being in charge for both technical and commercial aspects. During my Project Manager duties, I have always worked as the top manager reported to Head office / Country Manager, except the last road project with STFA, where it was a JV, and I was representing STFA, reporting to PD, appointed by our JV partner.
I have worked in Turkey and abroad, at a total of 28 years, and spent last six years in the Sultanate of Oman, in similar projects.
I am married and my family is located in Oman, where my wife is working as Professor in Dentistry, in the Oman Dental College. We have children, youngest daughter is in Oman, and elders are studying in Turkey / UK.
