• MBA Finance, M.Sc. Computer Science and B.E. Engineering degrees, with continuous professional training.
• Member of APEGA (Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta) as Professional Engineer. Eligible to get Professional Engineer designation in any other province/ jurisdiction in North America.
• Strong understanding and experience of project management, engineering and operations at various levels.
• Proven track record of leading to success many capital projects through all phases of development and execution including: framing, engineering design, cost estimates, planning & scheduling, cost control, regulatory approvals, procurement, construction, commissioning & start-up (C&SU) and integration management.
• Well versed with applicable engineering Codes and Standards, Quality Management System and HSE, including ISO-9001, ISO14001, OHSAS-18001, ISO-15156/ NACE MR-0175, NACE MR-0103, and CSA Z662.
• Involved in FAT, SAT, commissioning activities, contractors’ claims evaluation and post project hand over activities.
• Conversant with undertaking special assignments, studies, surveys, adhoc tasks and evaluation of existing systems and processes through benchmarking assigned by management, including chairing/ participating in committees and task forces.
• Ability to identify problems, make sound judgments and take appropriate action. Conversant with Root Cause Analysis (RCA), Technical Report Writing, Formal Engineering Investigation and Technical Presentation formulation.
• Possess results-oriented attitude, strong organizational skills including the ability to plan, coordinate and monitor a significant number of complex functions simultaneously. Well known for getting work done even under extreme constraints.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills, self-starter, quick-learner, strong negotiation skills, lead from the front and work effectively in multi-task environment with cross-functional teams.
• Possess superior Project Management skills and extensive knowledge of PMLC/ SDLC. Ability to influence without authority.
• Proficient in Windows OS, MS office. Conversant with SAP ERP and planning software like Microsoft Project & Primavera P6
