- Well Knowledge about Mechanical Test like: Tensile, Impact, Hardness, DWTT, Chemical test & NACE (HIC + SSC FPB) test and also Facility approval by Major customer eg: PDO, OGC, BP Oman, GPS, Petrofac, Al Turki, Galfar, SCTS Oman, DODSAL, Oxy Oman or other clients as per respective spec’s.
- Reviewing the QA/QC Engineering specification as per client requirements- ISO/ DEP/ SP/ API/ DIN/ CANSA.
- Implementation for ISO 17025 for lab testing facility for Mech. & NACE Lab with DAC accreditation body.
- Lookover & train technician for laboratory test activities as per ASTM, ISO, DEP, API 5L, 5CT, CANSA, DIN & as per customer requirements.
- Calculation and ordering of HR coils & coating materials (PE, PP, Adhesive, FBE & Internal pipe coating Paints) for each project.
- Verification of Coating process inspections in the plant during manufacturing and qualification .
- Monitor for Maintenance and calibration of all laboratory instruments / equipment such as Tensile, Charpy Impact, Rockwell and Vickers Hardness Testing etc. as per Calibration Standards.
- Perform micro / macro structure analysis, Monitoring product performance.
- Issuance of nonconformance, reporting, verification & finalizing of related reports.
- Preparation of Inspection & Test Plan, Manufacturing procedure specification, Quality Plan for review by manager and submission to client for approval.
- Other tasks assigned by the department Head, MR & QA/QC Manager
