Store / Warehouse Management
Planning, directing and maintaining efficient Stores Operations; assigning and evaluating the work performance of personnel assigned to store, maintaining clean & safe environment.
Monitoring Receipt, Inspection, Storage, Issues & Inventory Management. Preparing documents like Invoices, Waybills, Inventory Log Registers and distribution of stock commodities & system up-dation & its various reports.
Organising and managing incoming & outgoing material activities to ensure accuracy, completeness and quality of material; verifying Periodical Stock, Stock Movement Register and other related registers.
Overseeing inventory ageing, conducting logical ageing analysis and assisting in disposal of scrap.
Materials Management
Accountable for meeting customer orders by designing, implementing and monitoring procurement schedules.
Finalising the specifications of materials, establishing quality & quantity limits for effective inventory control and reducing non-moving, slow moving material & wastages.
Streamlining systems and procedures for effective inventory control for ensuring ready availability of materials to meet production targets through JIT (Just In Time) & increasing inventory turnover.
Logistics / Supply Chain Management
Managing Supply Chain for distributing goods in warehouse to the manufacturing unit for achievement of targets within specified parameters.
Devising efficient Logistics Management System, transportation of material at optimum cost, adopting measures for reducing landing cost.
Managing all the commercial documentation in compliance with Central Excise and Trade Policy. Creating delivery schedules and ensuring timely delivery of materials.
