Electronic Engineer and master, over 29 years of technical experience, working as Instrument, automation and valve engineer, responsibilities have varied from project engineer to Discipline lead, involved from design phase through to the completed and operational installations, including completion and commissioning activities for installations onshore, offshore and FSU vessels.
Maintenance Instrument Supervisors at Power Plant, Gas compressors plants and tank farms
As Field Engineer, technical advisor in charge of technical evaluations generating recommendations to improve performing either in operation or maintenance
Experience working with different FEED studies, DCS, PLC, SCADAS, RTUs fire & gas and ESD systems
Involved during installation, commissioning and startup of different Turbomachinery/Gas Compressor delivering full operating units
Experience has as well included field instrumentation packages (field instruments, valves, flow meters and analysers) in charge of technical specifications, follows up and FATs
Familiar with technical specification for tenders and Bids, technical evaluations, clarification meetings and follow-ups for the following packages
Additionally as part of Design engineering deeply involved with loop diagrams, interconnection diagrams, IS calculations, SIL calculations (standard IEC 61508), Instrument and I/O list, Signal alarms list, HMI, Instrument data Sheets for field instruments, SCDs, control logic diagrams, PLC programming, F&G devices orientation, HAZOP, HAZID, Design reviews, P&IDs, sizing calculations (for flowmeters, valves and other field instruments), instrument Hookups, cable sizing, cable layout, cable trays sizing, preparations job cards).
Experience working with Standards like TRs, DEPs, NORSOK, ATEX, ISO, API, ASME, AGA, IEC, IEEC, NACE, ISA, PED and others.
As well familiarized with SAP, STID, Smart plant, IFS, Time and other data bases used in Norwegian projects. Also involved with PDMS and AUTOCAD for reviewing drawing and models
