Abdullah Abdul Rasheed

I am an ACA from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan, currently working as an Audit Assistant Manager at Deloitte Middle East, Oman (a Big4 firm) providing audit, non-audit assurance, compliance and certification services. Before Deloitte Oman I worked at Deloitte, Pakistan and Deloitte Middle East, UAE.
I have around 8 years of experience working at various Deloitte offices that brought me to a widespread exposure to different business in MENA and Pakistan. This provided me strong business insights, experience of working in ERP environments, comprehensive understanding of internal control systems along with an insider view of the business processes and corporate governance activities.
At Deloitte, I am reporting to the Senior Managers, Directors and Partners and working with them to achieve the overall objectives of the company. In my capacity, I am managing and leading assurance engagements, providing trainings, mobilizing resources, providing solutions to the client’s business and support groups, setting budgets and pricing. I have also delivered a number of non-audit specialized projects.
My recent specializations include Islamic banking, Islamic core banking system Shari’ah certification, construction & real estate, IFRSs, AAOIFI’s Islamic Standards, ISAs and SOX compliance ICFR based on COSO Framework.
I have recognized inter-personal, management and organizational skills. Experience of working in multicultural environments equipped me with the traits needed to deal with a variety of situations in a manner which proves to be efficient and effective. I am enthusiastic, innovative and self-motivated team player who enjoy challenging tasks.
