Sachin Sawant

Sachin is a consummate HR professional with experience in the Logistics, Healthcare, Retail, Defense & Hospitality Sectors. He has been instrumental in conceptualizing and implementing ideas for Staffing, “Control costs”, Improve processes, Execute HR, IR situations, Statutory Compliance management & Administration related projects and build capabilities in his present and past roles.

In his current role, he has taken over the Western Region for Metro Cash and Carry. It has great challenges to be conquered. IR, Team Building and Relations, developing capabilities by improving Human Relations.

In his previous role he was handling HR, IR &Admin for all units and locations of APM - Terminals EMR Division across South Asia Consolidation of Business and Expansion in newer Geographies was the main focus area.

Previously he was managing HR & IR function for a 1500 + employees in 2 Multi Specialty Hospital in Mumbai & Navi Mumbai, The Role gave him a opportunity and exposure to restructure and reorganize the HR function to follow and achieve JCI & NABH accreditation's.

Prior to that he was with M&S, he was Instrumental in establishing all HR processes for M&S in India and setting 26 stores across India in 3 and a half yrs time span.

Prior to that he was working with Aditya Birla Retail ( More ) where he was instrumental in forming National, Regional, Zonal Merchandising, Marketing , Operations & Visual Merchandising Teams and was also responsible for Corporate HR Ops.

In his assignment with Future Group he was responsible for West Zone HR Administration, Manpower Planning & Budgeting, New Store Ventures, Campus Recruitment's.

Served as a Captain in a Infantry Regiment and has been trained and mastered in Operations, Administration, Security, Team Management, Stress Management, Relationship Management & Trouble Shooting.

Was a part of Hospitality Industry in his early career days, worked with Sharp Services, Taj Air Caterers & Cambata Aviation's.
