Works Manager

Responsible for the overall organization, management direction and control of all functional departments at unit level.
Planning, organizing, formulating, directing and controlling the operations activities to achieve desired level of output in terms of productivity, quality and unit costs.
Achievement of Daily / Weekly / Monthly production targets.
Ensuring that the shop floor has the necessary manpower, competence, skill, knowledge, plant and tooling required in order to achieve production targets.
To coordinate with the concerned departments for effective functioning and initiate developmental activities for process streamlining and improvement.
Planning and coordinating with concerned departments to meet the requirements and complying with regulatory practices.
To ensure highest level of operational health and safety standards.
Ensure compliance of ISO 9001/ EMS 14001 / OHSAS within the unit & building up systems for all possible processes for smooth functioning.
Liaise, Co-ordinate, handle all Legal & Statutory norms and authority effectively (MOEF/CPCB/GPCB).
Provides leadership and leads the implementation of systems and processes to maintain a highly engaged workforce. Engagement, talent development, performance management, Succession planning and training.
Prepare, control and monitor Budgeting/MIS/Costing of respective functions.
Knowledge of Sourcing, negotiating and managing the purchase of all materials and services for production.
