1.
Deploy new
server environments running Windows platforms following documented standards
and practices.
2.
Implement
applications and services as needed to support the business.
3.
Administer
Infrastructure related tools such as SCCM, Backups, BitDefender, OpenDNS and
Active Directory.
4.
Manage
security related initiatives (PCI / HIPPA) and implement solutions for all
audit findings.
5.
Perform the
role of “technical lead” for major business / software / infrastructure related
projects; implement best in class infrastructure solutions for HA / DR.
6.
Perform
capacity planning and provide recommendations to enhance performance.
7.
Diagnosis
and resolve advanced system performance, communication, and throughput
problems.
8.
Engineer, develop, and implement various
Enterprise Level Solutions running on Windows 2008 and 2012 server.
9.
Implement
self-service and automation capabilities for new server deployments using orchestration
tools.
10. Responsible for level 3 on-call escalation
(including after hours) and performs troubleshooting for all critical situation
events.
11. Interviews end users to understand current
performance issues and future demands to make recommendations for
infrastructure enhancements.
12. Documents technical design requirements and
provides feedback to project team; including Visio designs, application flows,
and configuration information.
13. Monitor infrastructure incident queue
requests and complete tickets within pre-defined SLAs.
14. Work on problems of diverse scope and will
create clearly documented recommendations to achieve resolution.
15. Mentors and cross trains other system
administrators and engineers within system operations.
Required Skills:
1. Candidate
must have a minimum of 5 years hand’s on experience in a server administration
role.
2. Exposure to system design technologies
desired.Strong Understanding of Windows 2008 and 2012 server platforms.
3. Strong Active Directory skills.Strong
understanding of server imaging and build practices.
4. Good knowledge of server virtualization
platforms VMWare.
5. Good knowledge of internetworking
technologies.
6. Good leadership and analytical skills.Strong
oral and written communication skills.
7. Strong inter-personal and customer service
skills.
8. Strong organizational skills, ability to
self-lead through major projects.
