Job Title / Designation: Travel and Tours Manager

Job Description:        

To take on the responsibility of the efficient functioning of the Tour department ensuring that the targets of sales and promotions set are met with, along with good customers satisfaction ratings based on professional communication & product delivery. Ensuring that tour related issues are satisfactorily resolved, that the Tour departments functions as a team, manages & delivers all activities related to preparation, execution & evaluation of the tours.

Key Functions & Roles of the Candidate:    

• Be the main contact person between the potential client & the firm
• Convert personal travel wishes into tailor made tour proposals
• Act as a liaison between the office & the field staff
• Supervise the Tour Team members work flow 
• Ensure all necessary steps are being taken from enquiry through booking to tour execution
• Optimize tour handling & related administrative procedures
• Ensure that the Tour Team works in complete cooperation with the rest of the office team
• Initiate & assist in new tours development  
• Handle feedback & complaints in a professional manner
• Formulate formats to  report tour business activities on a predetermined time cycle

Mandatory Skills Set:           

• Excellent written & verbal communication skills
• A disciplinarian with a Customer Service attitude &  effective Time Management handler,
• Efficient planner with good organizing skills
• Possess the requisite skill set to lead, motivate & carry along the Team
• Ability to negotiate favorably commercial terms with the vendors in the supply chain
• Possess a strong trade related network

Minimum/Maximum/ Work Experience Required:  7 – 10 years in the same trade

Annual CTC: Upto 6 LPA

Minimum Education Requirements: A degree in Tourism or a M.B.A. from a recognized Institute or a recognized University

Work Timings / Working Days: 9 AM – 6 PM (Monday – Saturday)
