Technical Suprintendent

 Job Description:-

·       
Technical management of Trans shippers/Vessels
as per ISM code.

·       
Operation cum maintenance of all machinery and
equipments/LSA/FFA/ Navigational & Communication / Pollution management /
Annual surveys / Renewal of Certificates and safety aspects of the vessels and
will keep the company fully abreast with the operation readiness of vessels.

·       
Visit the vessels regularly for upkeep of
vessels. 

·       
Ensure Crew personnel carry out the relevant
planned maintenance schedule in accordance with the policy agreed with the
technical manager.

·       
Technical guidance for defect rectification to
ship staff.

·       
To monitor vessels class and trading certificate
to ensure timely renewal and / or Survey. 

·       
Monitoring indents and follow up of purchase
orders and supplies. 

·       
Plan maintenance cycle of safety items;
machinery and drydocks. 

·       
Follow up vessels reporting forms with
appropriate feedback. 

·       
Follow up vessels maintenance program to make
sure it is fully updated on a daily basis by the technical manager and it
should reflect the true condition of the vessel. 

·       
Management of fuel consumption and pollution
control 

·       
MIS & Stand by instructions in case of
emergency.

·       
Budget monitoring / control and forecast
