Systems Administrator, who will
primarily be responsible for implementing, monitoring, troubleshooting,
maintaining, upgrading, and securing physical and virtual Windows-based
systems.
Implementation of systems involves working with the
application owner of a particular server or architecture to understand
the requirements, design, procure, and installation of the system(s) to
meet the business requirements. This includes updating supporting
documentation and monitoring systems to meet Medlines standards. The
Systems Administrator will provide escalated maintenance and support of
all systems. This will include performance monitoring, tuning, and
security.
The Systems Administrator will keep management, other
team members, and customers aware of obstacles and status of changes in
timely manner and uses proper judgment to determine when such
communication is necessary. This person will also provide technical
support to Operations and Business Application Teams.

Key Skills:

Ms Exchange 2010 or above
Active directory 2008
VMware

Some of the responsibilities are:

Occasional and short-term USA visits for orientation, training's and major project kick-offs
Hands-on experience and advanced knowledge and troubleshooting of rack mounted servers (HP/ProLiant experience is preferred).
Hands-on knowledge and ability to resolve common problems such as
file system capacity, consistency and integrity of file systems.
Ability to execute software migrations and upgrade efforts of varying size and complexity.
Demonstrates the ability to document project tasks, test, and
execute them on time and ability to request input and review from
management and technical team members.
Demonstrates the ability to present areas of expertise to team members with guidance from lead/manager.
Demonstrates the willingness and ability to improve performance
and/or capabilities across all areas of responsibility. Utilizes formal
and informal training to maintain skill sets.
Ability to work within a 24x7 environment and participate in an on-call rotation
