System QA Engineer

Position:- System QA Engineer
Location:- El Segundo, CA

Key Skills Required:-
Good knowledge and hands on experience of
Servers: Dell & IBM
Storage: NetApp and Isilon
Platforms: Linux, unix & windows, Vmware & openstack(Good to have).
Nexus integrations: Hands-on exposure on B22 & MXL Dell blades will be plus.
Hypevisor & Monitoring: KVM, EXI, DRAC etc
Brief Role:-
Testing various new images or troubleshooting bugs.
Testing new products or features.
Creating various Vmware reports and supporting BAU if required.
Creating rollout plans or MOPs for production.
Supporting installs during maintenance window.
Supporting new implementations and various lab integrations.
Identify changes in new storage OS releases that might involve modify changes to system configuration files (e.g. /etc/multipath.conf) or NFS mount options.
Identify any conflicts between existing clients (by OS) and the new storage OS release.
Create and execute scripts to test out common facets and features of Linux operating systems and/or Dell hardware.
