Ability to determine the system components that needs to run in order to fulfill the SLA
Ability to perform estimation activities like Disk Sizing and Configuration, including JBOD / RAID, SANs, virtualization, and disk sizing requirements in a cluster
Deep understanding of network configuration in Hadoop (for both HDFS and MapReduce) and propose or identify key network design components
Knowledge of Hadoop metrics and cluster health monitoring
Ability to integrate Kerberos with the Hadoop cluster for security policies
Large enterprise or commercial deployment experience in complex heterogeneous environments
Familiarity with Massively Parallel Databases
A deep understanding of, and ability to use and explain all aspects of application integration in .NET and data integration with SQL Server and associated technologies and standards
Knowledge of Hybrid cloud configurations, patterns, and practices. Experience leading enterprise migrations
Ability to recommend and configure Azure subscriptions
Working knowledge of scripting and automation technologies, such as PowerShell, PDT, and DSC
Expert level experience in SQL Server performance tuning and administration working with Large to very large databases (multiple terabyte or larger).
