o Maintaining the financial accounts of the company
o Keep a record of all the transactions made by the company on a daily basis
o Calculate the profits and losses of the company
o Work with the management in devising financial strategies for better profits
o Help the company make budgets and set profits goals for the company
o Follow the accounting standards set by the companies
o Maintain the inflow and outflow of funds
o Sending letters to debtor for outstanding payments
o Filing of TDS return
o Make accurate reports for the quarterly, half-yearly and the year-end accounts
o Prepare all the reports in the stipulate deadlines
o The accounts have to be immaculate as a copy is to be provided to all the prospective clients
o The accountants also has to work closely with the tax department as filing for the correct taxes is important else it could be counted as an offense
o Keep a close watch on all the financial transactions made by each department and make record for them
o Perform all-round financial accounting duties and able to handle a team.
o Voucher entries in tally (sales, purchase, payment, receipt, and journal)
o Debit credit note, Maintaining Daily petty cash, and Statutory compliance
o Liaise and co-ordinate with bankers and auditors
o Prepare tax computations and returns
o Salary payments
o Bank reconciliation
o Follow up on payments (Bills, TDS, ESIC, PF)
o To retrieve the records from time to time for reference
o Cash Handling, JV- passing entries, keeping track of the bills
o Knowledge of VAT, Sales Tax and excise
