Job Description :
• In charge of kitchen planning menus, negotiating prices and delivery arrangements with suppliers, ordering and storing food.
• Organizing staff rotas , supervising everyone in your team , training new staff.
• Every dish that goes out to a customer is upto standard , the temperature, presentation and portion size.
• The job requires careful planning, good timing and excellent team work
• wastage must be kept to the minimum, production quantities and portion control accurate.
• Manage the achievement of customer satisfaction.
• Work with others to improve customer service, Monitor and solve customer service problems. Encourage innovation, Implement change
• Ensure that all the quality and quantity standards of food preparation & presentation in the Banquets are adhered to.
Devise methods for optimal use of raw materials & fuel and maintain the budgeted food cost.
• Co-ordinate with the Purchase department regarding procurement of various items based on the stock levels and usage in the kitchen.
• Monitor adherence to Safety, Hygiene and Cleanliness standards.
• Ensure good physical upkeep, condition of equipment and utensils in all the kitchen and Co-ordinate with the Engineering department for the repairs and maintenance.
• Techniques in quantity food production ,Inventory management ,Working knowledge of MS Office ,Food Costing and Menu pricing techniques.
Salary - 12000.00 – 18000.00 +Food +Room.
