Shift Incharge Melt Shop/ Furnace

Job Specifications:

Need to have minimum 5-10 years’ experience in steel industry, well conversant with CCM operations.

Must be B.E Metallurgy/Diploma.

Should have good communication skills.

Job Description:

Responsible for the smooth functioning of IF & OBS/LRF

Ensuring the quality and safety in the plant.

Working in close co-ordination in shift with Manager furnaces.

Monitoring consumable and spare stock of IF- items.

Responsible for the smooth production of Induction Furnace, production process improvement, controlling delays by generating analytical data.

Analysing failures & break down on daily, weekly & monthly basis.

Monitoring employee’s attendance and reports abnormalities.

Managing manning requirements for individual shifts.

Conduct process audit and reporting of nonstandard practices and unsafe condition.

Planning down day activities, job allocation to individuals and compliance report.

Responsible for development activities and continual improvement.

Working in co-ordination with operators/melter to improve workman ship to enhance performance.
