Senior HVAC Engineer

VAC Design of Power Plants in TG Building and Boiler House.

1. Exposure in conceptual and basic design of DX & chilled water air conditioning systems, dry & evaporative ventilationsystems.

Should be familiar with variety of equipment like packaged, split and terminal AC units, air handlers, ventilation fans, electric/steam/hot water heaters etc.; associated systems/equipment like pumps, cooling towers & heat exchangers.

2. Familiar with specific engineering activities as mentioned below:

Cooling & Heating load calculations (ASHRAE/CARRIER methods)

Equipment sizing and selection

Duct sizing and basic ducting layout

Pipe sizing and pressure drop calculations

Preparation of technical data sheets and specifications

Technical Bid evaluation

Vendor drawing reviews

3. Knowledge of international codes of practice (ASHRAE, SMACNA, ARI etc)

4. Technical guidance to junior engineers & designers

5. Coordination with other engineering disciplines & suppliers for detailed design

6. Sensitivity to complete assigned jobs within schedule and budget

7. Mobility to undertake short assignments to job site as required during erection & commissioning.
