Sr. Engineer – Linux Administration
Location: Gurgaon
Experience: 2+ Yrs.
Should have the following skills:
1. Linux System Configuration & Administration
• Linux boot/initialization knowledge and experience
• Linux kernel memory management knowledge and experience
• Linux driver development experience
• Linux scheduler and performance tuning
• Knowledge in Red Hat Linux Environments
2. Application Server Administration:
• Knowledge in installation/configuration and production support for Java 7, JBOSS
AS7, WildFly 9 and Tomcat 7/8
• Managing Applications in IHS, Tomcat, JBoss including maintenance, upgrades and
patching
• Web Server & Application Server concepts
• Experience in troubleshooting issues in HTTP/WAS/JBOSS
• Experience in Production Support
3. Experience with Build/CICD tools -Jenkins, Bamboo, Maven, Subversion, Git, Build Forge,
Blade Logic etc.
4. Familiarity with Networking & Security technologies like routing, switching, Firewalls,
IDS/IPS etc., SSL Certificate Management
5. Experience with one or more Unix commands and shell scripting languages (Bash, CShell,
Ruby, Python), especially Bash scripting skills and experience
6. Advanced problem-solving skills, able to solve technical problems in collaboration with
other teams
