Reporting to the General Manager, the incumbent will be responsible for managing the Import & Export activities of the Department.
Minimum qualification – Bachelor’s degree in any field from a reputed university.
Must have minimum 3-5 years Import & Export operations experience.
Candidates with prior experience in Online Applications, Marsal- 2 and exposure to Inco term, Port & Customs procedures would be an added advantage.
Main Tasks, Duties, and Responsibilities:
Liaise closely with suppliers, principals and team members and effectively manage order to maximize sales levels
Monitor purchase requirements and movement, keep track of supplier order cycles and avoid out of stock positions expiries
Must have exposure to LC Terms, knowledge of accounts payable & receivable would be an advantage
Place the orders in conjunction with the principals and ensure timely delivery
Liaise with shipping agencies to get the optimum rates for the appropriate shipment terms
Monitor and resolve inventory discrepancies if any with supplier
Generate and analyze timely and accurate reports related to stock, shipment, forecast etc for smooth functioning of Supply Chain.
