Job Description:
Identifying & on boarding thought leaders as speakers for DMAi forums
Coordinate & manage industry specific councils, chapters & groups, webinars & events
Interact and understand current business ( marketing /advertising / media) challenges
Liaison with members to find out current research & education program needs
Motivating leadership teams to nominate delegates, participate at awards programs
Keep assigned accounts updated about DMAi forums, events and manage RSVP
Ensure adequate industry participation & representation
Forge alliances with industry specific associations
overseas interaction via video call / phone / email with global partners.
Business Development Research skills, with ability to generate conversation / meetings.
Taking follow -up at regular intervals with the prospects / clients.
Proactively initiate and engage calls to new prospects.
Skills Required:
Must be a confident communicator and presenter
Articulate and comfortable picking up the phone and calling people to track down information, following up on lapsed memberships, and responding to inquiries.
Must be able to understand the end goal and be able to create and execute the step by step tasks needed to accomplish the goal. Must be task oriented and self-starter.
Willing to learn, and confident in proposing innovative ideas to management.
Comfortable working independently and remotely.
Proficient in Google Apps as well as electronic communication and internet research.
Ability to work collaboratively and independently and quickly to meet deadlines on multiple project.
Strong personal networking relationship with industry would be an added advantage.
Be able to grasp marketing & advertising concepts and new media information quickly.
