Position Summary:
The SAP Support Analyst – will be responsible for gathering business requirements for a wide range of system and process improvement primarily in the manufacturing industry. The candidate must be able to provide post GO-LIVE Support and help stabilize business by handling critical issues in PP modules. The Analyst will be responsible to meet with stakeholders for requirements gathering and document detailed functional specifications. This position will report to Manager-ERP.
Essential Functions:
Responsible for gathering business requirements and developing detailed functional specifications
Act as direct liaison with Manufacturing Business and ERP team to ensure system requirements; deadlines and priorities are clear and attained
Responsible for performing FIT/GAP analysis, and provide SAP Solutions that can be achieved by configuration. Steer business team members to adopt Industry best practices
and standard SAP solution as much as possible
Develop and execute test cases
Perform unit and integration testing / documentation preparation
Assist with end user training
Perform technical trouble shooting to resolve production support issues
Minimum Qualifications:
Minimum of five to six (5-6) years of proven SAP analysis experience in a 4.7 or above environment with at least three full life cycle implementation and / or upgrade
Bachelor’s Degree in related discipline with specialized leadership training and/or
demonstrated capability to perform job responsibilities through previous experience and education
Must posses’ core strength in Production Planning (PP) and Quality Management
Knowledge of other modules (SD, MM, FI) is a plus.
Should have in depth SAP experience with PP and MM Configuration which includes Variant Configuration, MRP, MRP Type, MRP Controller, Inventory Management, Purchasing, Consumption base planning, BOM (Bill of Materials), MTO, MTS, ATP (Availability Check), Planned Independent Requirements, Production Planning, Forecast, Routing, Work Scheduling, Configure Master Data such as MRP Group, Strategy Group etc.
Knowledge of Process manufacturing and discreet manufacturing is desired.

Ability to develop and execute test cases
Self-motivated individual with the ability to work in a multi-tasking, changing environment
