Job Description

This position supports the global sales team by managing the CRM tool (SugarCRM) and the global pipeline as well as coordinating sales forecasts, acting as the local liaison at corporate headquarters in NJ for all account management, and participating in helping to manage sales activities while accelerating sales cycles. The Sales Ops Coordinator will also provide sales administrative support to the sales team.

Responsibilities  

·         Coordinate sales forecasting, planning, and budgeting processes used within the sales organization.

·         Proactively monitors and maintains high levels of quality, accuracy, and process consistency in the sales organization’s planning efforts.

·         Support the sales team and coordinate sales activities with stakeholders within the organization.

·         Help establish sales processes in a fast-growing, dynamic sales organization.

·         Qualify incoming leads and inquiries generated via the company’s website, trade shows and events, and other channels.

·         Interface directly with clients, as needed, in order to keep the sales cycle moving.

·         Work closely with sales management to ensure sales process quality and prioritize opportunities for improvement. Assist management in understanding process challenges and inconsistencies.

·         Monitor the accuracy and efficient distribution of sales reports from CRM and other intelligence essential to the sales organization. Recommends revisions to existing reports, or assists in the development of new reporting tools as needed.

·         Help implement enabling technologies, including SugarCRM. Monitor the assigned sales organization’s compliance with required standards for maintaining CRM data. Work closely with sales management to optimize the effectiveness of technology investments.

·         Help coordinate training delivery to sales.

·         Work across finance, marketing and human resources, provide assistance on an as-needed basis.

·         Build peer support and strong internal-company relationships with key team members and sales stakeholders.

·         Support sales team with ad hoc projcects as needed

·         Some travel required.

Qualifications

·         Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task in an ever-changing and demanding environment.

·         Expert level written and verbal communication skills

·         Proven ability to handle discreet and confidential information, be adaptable to various competing demands, and demonstrate the highest level of customer /client service.

·         Demonstrated ability to achieve high performance goals and meet deadlines in a fast paced environment.

·         Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships.

·         Ability to exercise sound judgment.

Education/Experience

·         Bachelor’s Degree in related field preferred.

·         Minimum 5 years’ experience in a sales support role

·         Experience working with a CRM system

·         Highly Professional Demeanor in dealing with all levels of management, including executive staff.

·         Command of the English language both oral and written.

·         Proficient in MS Office Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint as well as Adobe Acrobat.
