Job Purpose
The main purpose of the Sales & Marketing Manager’s job is to direct, control and pursue all sales and marketing opportunities that meet RE’s strategy and its short-term and long-term business goals.
Continuously develop and optimize Marketing & Sales Process in place to have best effective and efficient utilization of resources.
Principal
Accountabilities
Carry Dept. day to day activities: Budgeting, Planning, Organizing, Staffing, Leading and controlling.
Develop, update and maintain company overall Marketing and Sales Strategy and report on performance accordingly. Plays an active role in the planning and follow-up of sales performance and in key sales decisions
Supports the GM in the preparation and communication/cascading down of realistic forecasts and sales targets for the sales & marketing team based on RE Marketing& Sales Strategy.
Plays an active role in the Sales and Operations process planning and execution.
Follows up with reporting sales team on the attainment of their quantitative and qualitative sales objectives, and provides the sales team with guidance, direction, and support in order to achieve established sales objectives
Maximizes revenues at a desired profitability level (to be decided with GM and Operations Manager) according to budget achievement and capacity planning and utilization rate) and market share, ensures attainment of sales objectives (by client segment, by product, by region), and oversees the timely reporting on sales performance
Intervenes as needed for managing issues with key customer accounts
Stays up to date on the collection status by customer
Plays an active role in network expansion, new market positioning and optimizes RE Sales performance
Plays an active role in the sales, estimation and bidding process at RE, including the follow-up on, and negotiations of, contract proposals
Controls costs of the sales team and ensures compliance with the established budget
Lead Regional Sales teams and/or conduct market research to generate new sales opportunities
Oversees the quality of RE’s external communication and its consistency with RE’s desired brand image
Ensures the accuracy, completeness, and availability of RE’s market intelligence databases
Develops and institutio

nalizes RE’s data, know-how, and capabilities in sales and marketing
Identifies, tracks and report performance and key KPIs for sales & marketing, and devises plans and initiatives for improvement

Qualifications
Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering, MBA or equivalent preferred
Excellent Marketing, Sales leadership, communication, interpersonal, team building, problem solving and analytical skills
Excellent customers account management skills and strong customer focus
Minimum 5 years experience in a Sales & Marketing position, preferably in the manufacturing sector
Minimum 3 years experience as a manager in a company of RE’s size or larger
Previous work experience in the GCC and in Saudi Arabia is a plus
Computer literate; fluent in English (spoken and written), and preferably in Arabic
