Safety Officer

Key Responsibilities :

To ensure Safe Working conditions at Works during fabrication of the Heavy Structural Steel of items like Beams and Girders, cable trays , Gratings, Conveyors and similar products.

Carry out Inspection of work places for the purpose of regulating and controlling and ensuring Safe Working conditions complying with the requirements of The workplace Safety and Health Act, Factory Norms during handling of Structural Steel Fabrication and Galvanization at Works near Pune, Maharashtra.

To educate Contractor / Sub Contractor people for creating Safety awareness at works at site so that the work is performed within established standards and clearly defined procedures.

To ensure issue and use of PPE to all involved in production at works and site.

Meet statutory compliance about Safety and environment, if required, by interacting with concerned officials.

Desired Candidate Profile :

• Knowledge and experience in ensuring the Safe Working condition during fabrication at works and site. Knowledge of Factory Act, Air, water and land pollution prevention and other related acts.

• Should be able to train and educate people for creating safety awareness at Works and Site

• Should control consumption of PPE at Works and site.

• Should be to interact with Customer as well as Government Agencies regarding statutory requirements of Safety and environment.
