Job Description
· Comply with PPE requirements and check for the same with mechanical technicians & helpers, if any.
· 2. At the beginning/completion of shift, carry out proper shift relieving by talking to Maintenance Shift engineer in next shift. Communicate in detail about the activities in shift, abnormalities, if any.
· 3. To follow safety instruction for maintenance works.
· 4. To follow the maintenance schedules dated accordingly.
· 5. Responsibility on tools & tackles.
· 6. To train the technicians, how to handle the tools.
· 7. Walk through inspection all areas and check the status of the work progress.
· 8. Report the observations, if any, to Mechanical HOD and take his guidance.
· 9. Carry out the Maintenance of your area as per SMP as per schedule.
· 10. Check the cleanliness of the working area after completion of maintenance work.
· 11. Report about the healthiness of Communication equipment.
· 12. Also, update about identified hazards, if any, to the Shift Engineer and to the next Operator.
· 13. Fill the checklist thoroughly and handover the same to the next engineer, clearly highlighting abnormalities.
Desired Candidate Profile
Candidate must have 3-8 years Experience in CHP/AHP Mechanical Maintenance in Thermal Power Plants.
Education-B.E/B.Tech/Dip in Mechanical Engg.
