Job Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Science (Physics, Chemistry, Math) with 5 years of experience in a reputed company of the related field.
OR
Master’s degree in Chemistry / Bachelor’s degree in Paint Technology with 3-5 years of experience in a reputed company of the Allied field.
Ability to work under minimal supervision and be self-driven.
Successful track record of proactively completing projects in a timely manner.
Strong written and oral communication skills; including ability to engage at all levels in a company both internally and externally.
Possess strong interpersonal skills that enable collaboration with global peers and customers.
Duties and Responsibilities
The Chemist will be responsible for, but not limited to:
Demonstrate strong understanding of structure/property relationships.
Test the regular supply of raw materials like extenders, binders, pigments and thickeners used in Paints.
Evaluate the new raw material like pigments, extenders, additives and Solvents as an alternate to the existing ones.
Finished Good Evaluation of Semi - Finish and Finished paints.
Should be able to work independently to carry out the R & D project work.
Supervise laboratory activities in collecting quality related data along with the maintenance of the Laboratory equipment.
