QA/QC ENGINEER

Designation : QA/QC Engineer.
Reporting to : QA/QC Manager
Salary range : AED 5000 to AED 6000
Job Description :
1. Responsible for receiving Inspection, record supplier’s non-conformance, resolve all quality related supplier’s non-conformance with suppliers (discuss with purchasers the error source whether internal or external- before approaching suppliers for resolution).
2. For all quantity related supplier’s non-conformance, identify the non-conformance to purchasers for closure with suppliers.
3. Discuss with expeditor for the sales order file, look for any technical documentation requirement before material supply is involved. If the technical documents are internal(eg ITP/local lab testing procedures) then prepare job specific ITP, for any lab testing procedure, obtain from the laboratory the necessary procedures & send it for customer’s approval.
4. In case the sales order requires any technical documentation for approval before manufacturing, obtain the same from suppliers in coordination expeditor & arrange to submit for customer’s approval. Keep a track of all the documents that requires customer’s approval & ensure they are approved before material production at mill.
5. In case the sales order requires third party inspections to be done at mill, organize &arrange the TPI at mill. Ensure to receive IRC from TPI before authorizing the supplier to dispatch the material.
6. If there arise any non-conformance during inspection, coordinate with mill for resolution until IRC is received.
7. For material from stock, requiring TPI, arrange the TPI at our end & ensure all the material complies to customer requirement before inspection & ensure the IRC is received from TPI.
8. If there arise any non-conformance during the inspection, resolve the non-conformance by either re-work, repair, replace & respect & finally IRC is issued.
9. Forward the IRC to expeditor for material dispatch.
10. Assist QA/QC Manager in fulfilling the requirements of QMS procedures.
11. Responsible to complete any other work assigned by department head.
Skills required:
Minimum 2 years of experience after Engineering graduation or 5 years of experience after Diploma
Graduation in mechanical engineering/Diploma
Oil and gas industry exposure preferable.
Must be PC literate and skilled in MS office.
Strong team player and interpersonal skills
Ability to interact with suppliers, customers individually with confidence
Possess good communication skills.
Inspection skills.
