Purchase Manager

• Seek reliable vendors or suppliers to provide quality goods at reasonable prices(Vendor Development, Vendor Registration, Vendor Analysis)
• Understanding of the technical aspects of the Material Requisitions and evaluation of the Quotations from Commercial aspects.
• Negotiate with vendors for goods and services, negotiate the best possible price and service guarantee
• Material development, Material Planning, Material Sourcing, Develop new supply sources for material procurement
• Techno Commercial negotiations /discussion with vendors and evaluate quotes received from vendors.
• Purchase Order generation & releasing and follow-up till reaching the supplies to the end user.
• Logistics arrangement for delivery of material to the Project and Coordination with transporter.
• Work closely with Sites to ensure proper and timely delivery of supplies including follow-up with suppliers for on-time delivery
• Interact & co-ordinate for technical clarity with vendors and Project sites
• Coordination with internal functions such as Project Team, Finance for improvements
• Reconciling suppliers accounts
• To make plan & schedule for the material procurement as per the requirements.
• Purchase major spares, consumables & apex.
• Timely closing of all purchase requisitions/ indents & reconciliation of Purchase requisition.
• Closing of contract / purchase orders.
• Formulate purchase strategy to ensure continuity of supply, cost reduction & to mitigate business risk.
• Preparing MIS report on progress status of procurement.
