Graduate Mechanical/Fire Protection Engineer with 7-10 years of techno-commercial experience Design, Engineering & Execution of Fire Protection, Suppression and Detection System Project, which included Water based Fire Protection Systems, Gas based Fire suppression Systems & Conventional Fire Alarm Systems. Should have knowledge of NFPA Standards
Candidate should have prior exposure in large multi-disciplined commercial or industrial project like Airports, Industrial, Hotels, Hospitals, shopping malls, etc. with ability to lead a team of Site Engineers & Supervisors.
Candidate should have done project planning & scheduling, Ability to timely deliveries to management & customer
Should be able to prepare & monitor progress reports based on site progress and provide periodic site reports as required for the project.
Ability to resolve site issues effectively with client, consultant, and other agencies is essential.
Should have ability to working on Bill of Quantity from site drawing
Should know Fire Protection design principles in details should be able to verify design of all types of projects
Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
• To manage execution of project with prevailing industry standards/ quality systems in most efficient, timely and cost effective manner.
• Liase with Main Contractor for site works coordination.
• Manage Subcontractors for smooth progress of works.
• Attend project progress meeting and take corrective action accordingly.
• Meet Consultant for technical approval and related issues etc.
• Manage project supervision, scheduling, target monitoring with reviewing or progress reports / taking appropriate action to achieve the end result.
• Manage preparation /submission of engineering submittals including submission of coordinated services shop drawings and tracking schedules etc.
• Manage Execution, Testing, and Commissioning with preparation of related documents, As-built drawings. .
• Manage Consultant and Clients inspection at site for preliminary as well as final handing over of the system.
