Direct and coordinate activities of production department in manufacturing and packaging of products.
Responsible for ensuring that products are produced according to the appropriate documentation in order to obtain the required quality.
To ensure the qualification and maintenance of his department, premises and equipment.
To ensure that the appropriate process validation and cleaning validation are done according to defined plans and protocols.
To ensure that the required initial and continuing training of his department personnel is carried out and adapted according to need.
o To prepare and review the instructions relating to production operations and to ensure their strict implementation.
To ensure that the production records are maintained, evaluated and retrieve correctly.
Responsible for monitoring and control the environmental monitoring program.
Responsible for monitoring the sanitization and hygiene program in the production area.
Responsible for approving and monitoring of materials suppliers.
Responsible for approving and monitoring of contract manufacturers and providers of other GMP related outsourced activities.
Responsible for monitoring of compliance with the requirements of cGMP.
Responsible for Participation in management reviews of process performance, product quality and of the quality management system and advocating continual improvement.
Follow up qualifications activities for production equipment, lab instruments and utilities.
Review production orders or schedules to ascertain product data such as types, quantities and specifications of products and scheduled delivery dates in order to plan department operations.
Plan production operations establishing priorities and sequences for manufacturing products.
Prepare operational schedules and coordinate manufacturing activities to ensure that production and quality of products meet specifications.
Review production and operating reports and solve operational, manufacturing and maintenance problems to ensure minimum cost and to prevent operational delays.
Resolve worker grievances or submit unsettled grievances to those responsible for action.
