Job Objective
- To help deliver the safe and efficient operation of all production activities
Summary Of Responsibilities
- Demonstrate personal commitment to ensuring compliance with Muna-Noor’s Health and Safety policy.
- Coordinate daily production activities with the shift supervisors to meet the production plan.
- Plan and supervise size and tooling changes to minimise scrap and maximise good quality production volumes.
- Monitor and record all production performance data and prepare monthly reports.
- Assist the Production Manager in weekly and monthly production planning activities.
- Assist the Production Manager by supervising the provision of training to production staff.
- Assist the Production Manager in the implementation of modern lean manufacturing techniques into the Rusayl Factory and involve all staff in operations improvement activities.
Qualifications & Competencies
- A strong personal commitment to improving Health and Safety demonstrated in a manufacturing context.
- Good technical understanding of thermoplastic extrusion technology.
- Good understanding of pipe applications, standards, testing and quality requirements.
- Experience in the use of 5S, Kaizen and other Lean Manufacturing Techniques in a manufacturing facility.
- Proficient in use MS office software.
- Good written and spoken English and report writing skills.
- Spoken Arabic an advantage
- BSc, BE or Btech. in a technical or engineering subject or in Polymer Processing Technology or extensive plant management experience.
- More than 5 years experience in the polymer processing industry, preferably in thermoplastics pipe extrusion.
- More than 2 years experience in leading and managing manufacturing teams.
