Job Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Science (Physics, Chemistry, Math) with 5 years of experience in a reputed company of the related field.
OR
Master’s degree in Chemistry / Bachelor’s degree in paint Technology with 3-5 years of experience in a reputed company of the Allied field
Ability to work under minimal supervision and be self-driven
Successful track record of proactively completing projects in a timely manner
Strong written and oral communication skills; including ability to engage at all levels in a company both internally and externally
Duties and Responsibilities
The Q.C. Chemist will be responsible for, but not limited to:
Monitor daily paint production batches, enter the work orders in the system for each batch produced and issue the same to stores.
Plan and execute export orders as per production requirement.
Review and test the components, raw materials and finished products to ensure that such products and materials meet corporate quality and safety standards.
Troubleshooting of batch production issues.
Prepare the Daily/Monthly production report and report to the Technical manager.
Oversee the Quality Management activities in the plant.
Develop and implement Quality Assurance Programs and procedures for the plant.
Supervise and follow up of environmental and safety matters.
