Duties & Responsibilities
Product Management
Lead a team of 6 to 8 product members with 2 team leads
Concept ideation
Product planning and strategy to plan products with sound business case, quality content and user benefit
Product Line Update/Extension
Improve quality and validated content and test to deliver a sound product
Arrange and maintain proper document/records (eg. PNs, PPTs, MIS etc)
Analyse competition periodically and map with own product. To keep competition sims and ensure same is kept with field teams and a feedback format is created and shared continuously
Keep close watch on MIS and reflect learning in new product development / existing product update, MIS formats to be made therein and shared with technical to get the information.
Strategy Role
Have clarity in mind on how the product is to be pitched to operators, what are USPs
Management support role in getting revenues from products
Close watch on competition
Streamline gaps at work stage level
Report immediate senior with periodic work stage reports (eg. checkpoint report)
Co-ordination / Linkage Responsibilities
Ensure team support for domestic and international markets.
Team delivers on deadline
Remove work constrain by highlighting at right time and hold review meetings
Support Go to Market strategy with key inputs
Interact with account managers as and when required (both way communication), this will work as feedback loop for Product
