- We are looking for PostgreSQL database developers who have strong design and development skills to assist in developing large-scale database solutions for enterprise applications.
- Role Description:
- - Development and optimization of database solutions in PostgreSQL
- - Designing and Managing PostgreSQL database schemas
- - Experience with PostgreSQL testing
- - Experience with configuration management
- - Implement Database Change Controls
- - Must have the ability to do performance tuning/index maintenance
- - Maintenance, development and migration of Data Warehousing solutions
- - Write code to meet design specs and requirements
- - Specifying effort estimates for new or enhanced feature development
- - Consult with users and stakeholders to ensure that requirements are met
- - Coordinate with other technical teams and business teams
- - Work closely with the operations and development teams to identify areas for product and process improvement
- - Experience with horizontal scaling strategies using feature such as Partitioning, Replication and Sharding
- - Experience in coding dynamic SQL statements
- A successful candidate must have:
- - MSc or BSc in Computer Science or equivalent
- - 4+ years of relevant work experience with PostgreSQL database development
- - Experience with Git and working knowledge of AWS is a plus
- - Strong time management, organization and communication skills
- - Experience with pair programming and test driven development
- - Knowledge of Agile Software Development (Scrum framework)
