Main Purpose
To manage an efficient logistics management for Vinspri, ensuring on time delivery against customer orders, maintenance of stock levels and to manage costs within the logistics function, ensuring that processes and systems are effective to meet the overall company objectives. Operational Responsibilities Sales Orders Processing · Processing requests from sales · Prioritizing Stock allocation based on market requirements · Advise on holding stock against a particular order · Forecasting stock requirements and raising requirements to purchases Material Management · Stock dispatch monitoring · Monitoring warehouse related activities · Stock level monitoring and highlighting actions to be taken on slow and non-moving stocks to the Senior Management · Ensuring that all stock movements are recorded in system in the form of GRNs, DCs, etc. · Monitor and ensure recording of Stock issues to customers is as per the defined policies and procedures · Monitor Maintenance of stock records, and ensure they meet both internal and statutory compliance purposes · Entering into rate contracts for logistics contracts · Warehouse & Infrastructure Management Transport Coordination · Rate Contracts, Negotiations, Appointments of Transporters · Arranging Vehicles for transaction supplies · Follow Up for timely delivery of orders · Approval of Transporter Bills for Payments Statutory and other Compliances Ensure compliance to the following compliance related activities: · Excise - Records maintenance supervision · Liaison with authorities Any other task as may be delegated by the reporting Manager or Senior Management
