To ensure vendor/customer account reconciliation on A, B & C category basis. 3. Verification and authorization of Salaries/ wages/ and other reimbursement pertaining to Plant. 4. Verification of Payables, Cash and Bank payment relating to Plant. 5. To ensure timely collection from Plant Customers. 6. To prepare Profit & Loss Account, Balance Sheets and Cash Flows Statements on monthly, quarterly and yearly bases, as per the quality requirement. 7. To ensure timely and accurate recording of Stores /Consumption 8. Agreements / Contracts with Vendors. 9. To post Payroll on monthly basis in SAP with the reconciliation of statutory dues thereto. Statutory Role: To ensure timely deposit of TDS and filing of TDS Returns. To ensure timely deposit of VAT and filing of VAT Returns, compliance of notices and assessments. To ensure timely deposit of Service Tax and filing of Service Tax Returns, compliance of notices and assessments. To ensure timely deposit of PF and ESI and control to file returns. To ensure timely deposit of Excise Duty and filing of Returns. Assets Management: To optimally manage asset acquisition, development and disposal and to monitor repairs to/ maintenance of assets for respective units. Process, System and Audit: To bring avenues for cost reduction in the business unit. To interact/communicate with statutory auditors, internal auditors, and business unit heads/Directors and to manage subordinates and peers in the business unit. To manage change w.r.t. business processes and Chart of Accounts based on requirements of SAP/ laws. To improve the existing systems and processes in consultation with higher-ups. Key Performance Parameters: No significant changes in audited Balance Sheet vs. results as per monthly closings(MIS) The correctness of Account Balances & information on operations for decision making. No. of days to close monthly books/ quarterly books/ annual books. Soft Skills: People Management An inter-personnel relationship between other peers, higher ups and within the Department. Task Oriented Key Result Area (KRAs) for Financial Year Monthly Closing of books in SAP by 15 days of the following month. Confirmations of Physical Assets, Debtors and Creditors Completion of signed audited trail balance of Business Unit To ensure authorization of financial vouchers as per norms defined. No Voucher in particular No JV beyond 1+1 month. To ensure at least 5 mandays training to each person in the accounts department.
