PHP Website Developer/ Website Designer

Job Description

You will be passionate when it comes to translating wireframes into fully working solutions.

A good eye for design, great attention to detail and a natural curiosity for new development methods are a must.

You
will be focused on creating responsive user-centric web based
applications using the latest HTML, CSS, JavaScript and PHP; Industry
standard frameworks such as Bootstrap and CMSs (including WordPress).

1.2. PRINCIPAL TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Create and maintain all

websites of organization.

 Design new web sites and services to make better use of social networks and emerging technologies to include mobile apps.

 Build on content management solutions and marketing automation products such as WordPress

 Maintain and update existing web solutions

 Research and maintain working knowledge of content management solutions

 Work with third party solutions, APIs and data sources

 Perform unit tests, cross browser testing and continuous maintenance of code

 Strong knowledge of Search Engine Optimisation

 Provide all Linux server support for the organization. Perform overflow support for the desktop and network environment.

 Producing detailed specifications and writing the programme codes.

 Reviewing current systems.

  Write well designed, testable, efficient code by using best software development practices.

  Presenting ideas for system improvements, including cost proposals.

  Working closely with

designers and staff.

 Be responsible for maintaining, expanding, and scaling our site.

 Testing the product in controlled, real situations before going live.

 Preparation of training manuals for users.

 Maintaining the systems once they are up and running.

 Integrate data from various back-end services and databases.

 Create and maintain software documentation.

 Debug issues that arise with the performance of the website

Review statistics and monitor analytics along with SEO of websites

 Work includes coding, handling support-requests, PHP unit testing and project documentation.

 Troubleshoot to resolution staff and customer web support issues.

 Maintains user accounts and security privileges for CMS.

 Provides end-user training and support of the CMS.

 Supports the mission of the organization by periodically working after-hour events.

 Other duties as assigned.

3. Requirements of the position

Experience with PHP/JavaScript/XHTML/ HTML /CSS

Experience with integrating outside APIs (Al-Pro/Face book/Twitter/Google Maps/Payment Process).

 Experience with Web Designer, Graphic designer, Graphics, Photoshop,Designer, Visual Design, Visuals, Java script, Dreamweaver, Adobe Photoshop.

 Experience with SEO marketing and related tools.

 Ability to work a flexible schedule, including some nights and /or weekends as necessary. Strong work ethic.

 Ability to work in a fast paced, team environment.

 Excellent organizational and time management skills.

 Design and implement front-end/back-end solutions, browser extensions and plugins.

Desired profile of the candidate

Education/Experience:

 Minimum of 4 years web development experience in either agency or client environment

 Strong understanding of Linux, Apache, Mysql, PHP stack, HTML, WordPress.

 Excellent communication and troubleshooting skills.

 Bachelors degree in computer science or related field desired.

 Good visualization and web design skillsThis
