Job Description / Responsibilities:
The Sales Manager is responsible for establishing relationships with potential customers in Various Industries for Thermal Insulation and Passive Fire Protection.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop Promat Fire Protection & Insulation business in various Industrial Segments.
Build quality relationships with the potential customers in Passive Fire Protection, Steel Structure Fire Protection, Thermal Insulation, Hydrocarbon Fire Protection in Oil & Gas Industries, Protective Coatings, Fire Barriers, Fire Rated Partitions, etc.
Find potential customers and help them become aware that we might be valuable to them.
Understand the customers business well enough to help their decision makers understand the business problems we could solve for them.
Understand the customer application requirements well enough to credibly demonstrate our solution is best for their needs.
Prepare proposals and offers providing evidence Promat can supply the solution.
Develop a full understanding of the competition, products, tactics and strategies to enable effective promotion and feedback.
Help the customer achieve the business results they expect through our products and services.
Be highly active within the Thermal Insulation and Passive Fire Protection Industries and Steel Structure Fire Protection.
Provide ongoing market feedback to Product Management to guide future product development and service offerings.
Develop and manage the distributor network to enhance promotion, service and supply.
Job requires travel on a reasonable frequent basis.
Desired profile of the candidate:
Technical Engineer background with Fire Protection Coatings, Metallurgy, Ceramic Engineer, Civil Engineer, or Mechanical Engineering.
Minimum 7 to 8 Years Experience in (Passive Fire protection / Coating / Insulation) with at least 5 years in Passive Fire Protection, Steel Structure Fire Protection, Thermal Insulation, Fire Stopping, Fire Barriers, Fire Rated Partitions, in various Industrial Applications.
Good analytical skills. Creative and open to relation with people. Demonstrable sales and selling skills key elements like
Asking questions to show a need and Selling the benefits of what is proposed
Using evidence to support the claim, Overcoming objections, Closing the sale
Fluent in English (written & spoken).
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with an ability to communicate effectively to any audience i.e. workers on worksites, corporate/senior executives etc.
Demonstrated skills at working across wide cultural and social spectrum ranges
